Privacy Policy
Last updated August 7, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how United Medical Management LLC (doing business as TJ Ahn Coaching & Consulting LLC) ("we," "us," or "our") handles information on drtjahn.com (the "Site"). The Site is a professional brand hub for Dr. TJ Ahn. It is deliberately light on data collection: we run no analytics, no advertising trackers, and we never sell your information.
The short version
If you never enter your email, you can read the entire Site without giving us anything that identifies you personally. The only information we actively collect is the email address you choose to give us — to subscribe to The Private Practice Dispatch or when you email us directly.
- No Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or advertising cookies. None.
- Fonts are self-hosted, so your browser makes no request to Google when you load a page.
- We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.
- Booking a call happens on cal.com, and our newsletter runs on Beehiiv — each under its own privacy policy.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you subscribe to the Dispatch, we collect the email address you submit. When you email support@drtjahn.com or use a contact link, we receive whatever you choose to include in that message. When you book a Profit Accelerator Session, you provide your details on cal.com's scheduling page, not on this Site.
Information collected automatically. Like virtually every website, our hosting provider records basic technical request logs — such as IP address, browser type, referring page, and the time of your visit — for security, abuse prevention, and to keep the Site running. We do not use this to build advertising or behavioral profiles.
We do not knowingly collect any health information, patient records, or other protected health information (PHI) through this Site. Please do not send medical details or patient information to us. Questions about patient care should go to your own clinic, not here.
How we use your information
- To send you The Private Practice Dispatch and related updates you asked for.
- To respond to your emails, speaking and media inquiries, and program questions.
- To operate, secure, and improve the Site.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Use.
We rely on your consent to send you the newsletter (you can withdraw it any time by unsubscribing), and on our legitimate interest in running a secure, functional website for the rest.
Service providers we rely on
We use a small set of trusted providers to operate the Site. Each processes limited data on our behalf under its own privacy terms:
- Beehiiv — delivers the newsletter and stores subscriber email addresses.
- Luma — powers the events calendar embedded on our Events page.
- Cal.com — powers the scheduling page where you book a session.
- Vercel — hosts the Site and generates operational and security logs.
We do not authorize any of these providers to sell your personal information or use it for their own advertising.
Your choices and rights
You can unsubscribe from the Dispatch at any time using the link in every email, or by emailing us. Depending on where you live — including under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) and comparable laws in Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, and other states — you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Request correction or deletion of that information.
- Opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information (note: we do not sell or share it).
- Not receive discriminatory treatment for exercising these rights.
To make a request, email support@drtjahn.com. We will verify your request and respond within the time your applicable law allows.
Data retention and security
We keep your information only as long as needed for the purposes above — for the newsletter, until you unsubscribe — and then delete or de-identify it within a reasonable period. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure.
Children's privacy
The Site is intended for practice owners and other professionals and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Visitors outside the United States
We operate from the United States, and the Site is intended for a U.S. audience. If you access it from elsewhere, your information will be processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your country.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
